Our Story

Established three years ago, Blue Isle is a family-run company. Our founder has many years experience of in managing and refurbishing a property, and sourcing products for clients. Trying to find the perfect bed for a client lead to a quest and ultimately a career-change, and the founding of Blue Isle. Conveniently, this coincide with a move to the country, and so now we can be found in the lovely New Forest and although we don’t run a permanent shop, we do have a very easy returns policy. We sometimes appear at fairs in the southeast with samples of our lighting, bedcovers, and vintage collection. Do follow us on social media to hear about any upcoming fairs.

Our aim from the start has been to source beautifully design and made pieces, and to be very customer-focussed. We like a pared-back look in solid wood, using a lot of ‘white’ weathered oak in a ‘modern country’ style. Suitable for the town, coast, and country, some of our pieces have a more edgy, urban appeal. Such as our reclaimed wood and metal tables and reclaimed elm trestle, whilst others such as our oak hall console are strictly traditional. The beauty of white oak is that it blends well with other interior styles.

Our signature lighting collection brings together four different styles of the lamp, ranging from more contemporary ‘grey metal’ bases to color-washed wood. Any decorative scheme is pulled together well by the clever placing of a pair of lamps on a console, or a single lamp to light up a dark corner and bring focus to a room.

We also love all things vintage! Also, We have a special ‘ vintage and unique section on our website where we share our finds, mostly from country auctions. We love decorative pieces which we feel would sit well with our collection.
